Prime Minister Mark Carney and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith will today provide updates on proposed new energy infrastructure to diversify Canadian exports and build what the prime minister\u2019s office calls \u201ca stronger, more sustainable, more competitive economy\u201d.<\/p>\n

The press conference in Calgary is scheduled for 6 pm local time in Calgary (Mountain Time) \/ 5 pm Pacific Time.<\/p>\n

This comes after Carney announcing a prosperity agreement with British Columbia<\/a> earlier today, which also guarantees environmental protection of the BC north coast.<\/p>\n
