\nJessica Peters and Gary Jaques from Calgary, Canada, have taken delivery of their brand-new Xc 47 at the X-Yachts yard in Haderslev, Denmark. After four days of technical handover, they set out on their very first adventure with sea trials in the beautiful waters of southern Denmark. \n<\/p>\n


\nAfter two days of sailing, their smiles said it all. Cruising through stunning scenery \u2014 from lush green coastlines and sheltered fjords to open waters \u2014 they also enjoyed a culinary stop at one of Denmark’s iconic seaside hotels. \n<\/p>\n


\n“This is a very special day for us,” says Gary Jaques. “Realising a dream like this comes with a lot of emotion for both Jessica and me. We had high expectations \u2014 after all, it’s an X-Yacht \u2014 but this boat has truly exceeded them. Not only in terms of performance on the water, but also as a safe, stylish home where we’ll be living for the next three to four months during our Scandinavian adventure.” \n<\/p>\n


\nTheir journey now continues north towards Norway before returning via the breathtaking Swedish west coast archipelago later this year. The boat will then be hauled out in Denmark for winter storage, before new adventures begin again next season. Fair winds and unforgettable moments ahead. \n<\/p>\n
