{"id":121077,"date":"2026-07-08T10:08:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-08T10:08:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/121077\/"},"modified":"2026-07-08T10:08:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T10:08:08","slug":"banyan-gold-secures-water-licence-for-hyland-drilling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/121077\/","title":{"rendered":"Banyan Gold secures water licence for Hyland drilling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/banyangold.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Banyan Gold<\/a> (TSX-V:BYN) has received its Type A Water Licence for the Hyland Gold Project in Yukon, Canada, clearing the way for a planned 50,000m diamond drilling program.<\/p>\n<p>Issued by the Yukon Water Board, the licence authorises water use for the drilling campaign and remains valid until 31 December 2029.<\/p>\n<p>The company says the licence was granted following a regulatory review process that included public consultation.<\/p>\n<p>The Hyland Gold Project covers approximately 21,000 hectares in southeastern Yukon and hosts multiple gold targets across several prospect areas. Previous drilling has identified gold mineralisation across several zones.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReceiving our Type A Water Licence is an important step forward for the Hyland Gold Project. This permit allows us to proceed with our planned drilling program and continue advancing our understanding of the gold potential across the property,\u201d CEO Tara Christie says.<\/p>\n<p>The 50,000m drilling program will target multiple prospects across the project, focusing on areas where previous exploration identified gold anomalies and favourable structural controls.<\/p>\n<p>Located within the Selwyn Basin, the Hyland Gold Project benefits from road access and proximity to existing mining operations. The basin hosts several <a href=\"https:\/\/mining.com.au\/commodities\/gold\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">gold<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/mining.com.au\/commodities\/base-metals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">base metal<\/a> deposits.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mining.com.au\/company\/banyan-gold\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Banyan Gold<\/a> continues to work through additional permitting requirements for the project.
