Conveniently, Got Craft is back just in time.

The long-running Got Craft Spring Market returns May 2 and 3 to the Croatian Cultural Centre, bringing together 100 Canadian makers, designers, and small businesses under one roof. Now in its 19th year, the event has become one of Vancouver’s most consistent showcases for independent creative entrepreneurs, with a focus on thoughtfully curated, handmade goods.

Expect a wide mix, from jewellery and ceramics to clothing, art, paper goods, homewares, and food and drink. It’s less about browsing aimlessly and more about discovering pieces you’ll actually use, often with the added bonus of meeting the person who made them.

Beyond the shopping, there are a few extras worth timing your visit around. Saturday features a Mini Makers Market highlighting kid entrepreneurs, while Sunday includes a free DIY project hosted by Graphic Novel Book Club. Food trucks will be on-site, and the first 50 people through the doors each day can snag one of the market’s limited-edition swag bags.

“Got Craft is more than just a market; it’s a reminder that shopping small makes a big difference to local businesses, and it’s an amazing opportunity to meet the maker being the product,” shares Got Craft Markets co-founder Andrea Tong-Tucker, in a statement. “Supporting small businesses has never been more important, and Got Craft is the perfect opportunity to discover unique, handmade goods while directly supporting the artisans and connecting with a like-minded community.”

When: May 2 and 3, 10am to 5pm

Where: Croatian Cultural Centre

Tickets: $5+, available here.
