There are hundreds of wildfires burning across Canada<\/a>, with several threatening communities and forcing residents to flee or prepare to evacuate at a moment\u2019s notice.<\/p>\n

The fires have also sent smoke billowing to other parts of the country and beyond its borders, prompting air quality warnings from Environment Canada and the ire of U.S. President Donald Trump, who threatened retaliatory tariffs<\/a> if Canada can\u2019t contain its fires.<\/p>\n
