{"id":146858,"date":"2026-07-28T16:50:05","date_gmt":"2026-07-28T16:50:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/146858\/"},"modified":"2026-07-28T16:50:05","modified_gmt":"2026-07-28T16:50:05","slug":"air-canada-launches-premium-economy-basic-and-business-class-basic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/146858\/","title":{"rendered":"Air Canada launches Premium Economy Basic and Business Class Basic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MONTREAL \u2014 Air Canada has introduced Basic fares options for Premium Economy and Business Class.<\/p>\n<p>The new Premium Economy Basic and Business Class Basic are available starting today, July 28.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese new fare options respond to the increasing demand for premium leisure travel and ensure Air Canada remains aligned with our partners and industry trends,\u201d said the airline in a heads up to travel advisor partners.<\/p>\n<p>Passengers booking these fares receive the core premium experience as with existing Premium Economy and Business Class fares, including a premium cabin seat, complimentary meal service, priority boarding and priority baggage handling.<\/p>\n<p>A key difference is that the new Premium Economy Basic and Business Class Basic fares are non-refundable. Changes are available for a fee, and advance seat selection is chargeable.<\/p>\n<p>Also, complimentary baggage has been reduced to 1 piece for the new Basic version of the fares. There\u2019s no lounge access permitted with Premium Economy Basic. With Business Class Basic, Maple Leaf Lounge access is included; Signature Suite access is not.<\/p>\n<p>The new fares are now available on the following markets: Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico, South America, and Air Canada\u2019s transatlantic joint venture markets (excluding Iran, Israel and the UAE).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"MONTREAL \u2014 Air Canada has introduced Basic fares options for Premium Economy and Business Class.
