May 29: that\u2019s the date Boards of Canada is back with Inferno. And you must be excited about it, because Bleep is down. But we have a dreamy faux-VHS tape to watch and hear, anyway.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not sure why everyone\u2019s worried about the marketing around Geese, because Boards of Canada and Warp have been leaving Morse code messages<\/a> and mailing VHS tapes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For anyone saying people don\u2019t have the attention span for music over long spans of time, or have lost touch with the appeal of physical music, I refer you to Bleep\u2019s Overloaded Order System. It should give all of us hope.<\/p>\n

Bleep is down, but Warp is up, as I write this. I like what they\u2019ve done with the physical stuff; somewhere, I have my CD edition of Music Has the Right to Children. And maybe it\u2019s time to do just that \u2014 skip the digital, and have a physical copy of this, and then go find some weird CDs on Bandcamp and get physical of that, too.<\/p>\n
