He is also threatening another round \u200cof punitive measures later \u2060this month.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">Last week Carney said he and Trump had agreed to intensify trade negotiations, adding \u2060that all options were on the table if the United States went ahead with its latest tariff threat.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">Canada is a \u200bmajor shipper \u200bof crude to the United \u200bStates and Carney, in \u200cresponse to a question about potentially using oil as a bargaining lever, dismissed the idea.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">&#8220;Being a reliable supplier is important. Canadians are reliable. Canadians can be trusted &#8230; we have many exports and commodities.
