According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.castanet.net\/news\/Business\/592040\/Canada-s-highest-paid-CEOs-made-an-average-of-16-2-million-in-2024-report\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reports<\/a>, he took home $205.5 million just in 2024 alone, making him the highest-paid CEO in Canada. Former radio personality Dean Blundell didn\u2019t mince words, either, accusing L\u00fctke of pushing an idea that may get his 7,000 employees dismissed.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The CEO of Shopify hates Toronto. In 2017, he faced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/ottawa\/shopify-ceo-tobi-lutke-defends-decision-to-host-breitbart-1.3973798\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">backlash<\/a> over Shopify hosting an online store for the far-right U.S. outlet Breitbart News.
