Obtained by NY Post<\/p>\n<p>Besides exile to Canada, she was sentenced to one day behind bars \u2013 though she was granted time served since she spent time in jail in Ocean County last month.<\/p>\n<p>Tracey was nabbed after allegedly confronting a group of four teenagers \u2014 including a girl wearing a USA 250 tank top \u2013 before launching the twisted attack on July 3.<\/p>\n<p>While arguing with the teen, she allegedly slapped the girl across her face, according to police, who said the assault was caught on camera.<\/p>\n<p> Kaitlyn Tracey will be deported. Instagram \/ @gravmasterhash<\/p>\n<p>Tracey overstayed her visa and was in the US illegally at the time of her arrest, the Department of Homeland Security said at the time.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, however, her defense lawyer tried to paint Tracey as a \u201cproductive member of society.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe arrived here on a passport some years ago. She met her husband and didn\u2019t leave, but while she was [here], she maintained equal employment and was a productive member of society,\u201d attorney Francis Hodgson told Judge Guy P. Ryan \u2013 and called the sickening situation simply \u201cunfortunate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Tracey has] taken responsibility for her role in it, and this is a reasonable judgment, Judge, that is consistent with other similar-type matters that happen every day during the summer on this boardwalk,\u201d Hodgson said of the sentence.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecution said that the victim\u2019s family was on board with the plea.<\/p>\n<p>A parent of the girl \u2013 who was only identified in court by the initials M.H. \u2013 attended the hearing virtually, but with no video or audio.<\/p>\n<p>Kaitlyn E. Ocean County Corrections<\/p>\n<p>Judge Ryan summarized the family\u2019s impact statement aloud in the courtroom.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe parents recite that, \u2018Thank goodness for cameras and cell phones to have documented this incident\u2019,\u201d he said, adding that the relatives belong to \u201cimmigrant families\u201d and are \u201cproud of their country and celebrated its independence.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe notoriety and felicity of this matter has indicated that they\u2019re proud of their country, love their country, they have core values and refer to the history of their family,\u201d the judge stated.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The front page of the New York Post on Thursday, July 18, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The victim and her parents \u201clook forward to justice being served, and they thank all the agencies involved,\u201d he concluded.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The not-so-nice neighbor from the North \u2013 who had been living in Asbury Park with her husband of three years, Matt Geroni \u2013 was initially charged with endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, harassment and obstruction, according to court records.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the latest on the Canadian woman ordered deported after assaulting Jersey Shore teen wearing MAGA apparel:<\/p>\n<p>She was transferred from the Delaney Hall immigration detention facility in Newark to ICE\u2019s processing center in Laredo, Texas \u2013 a five-minute drive down the road from Laredo International Airport.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>How and when Tracey will be transported back to Canada and whether she will ever be permitted to return to the US wasn\u2019t immediately clear \u2013 though her banishment is expected to last \u201cfor a very long time,\u201d Judge Ryan said during her sentencing.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\tStart your day with all you need to know\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"inline-module__cta\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMorning Report delivers the latest news, videos, photos and more.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\tThanks for signing up!\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Geroni was noticeably absent from the courtroom Tuesday, after the self-styled social media star previously <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/07\/15\/us-news\/ironic-twist-for-canadian-woman-accused-of-slapping-jersey-shore-teen-for-wearing-maga-attire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">whined in a TikTok video <\/a>that his wife was forced to endure \u201chorrible,\u201d squalid conditions at Delaney Hall \u2013 and begged his followers to help him get her released from ICE custody, \u201ceven if that means back to Canada.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The 42-year-old husband \u2013 who bills himself as the \u201cJester of the Jersey Shore\u201d and the\u00a0 \u201cClown of Asbury Park\u201d on social media \u2013 has a lengthy history of posting unhinged lefty rants.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In a pair of disturbing videos posted on his TikTok account last August, Geroni openly <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/07\/15\/us-news\/matthew-geroni-wishes-cancer-on-donald-trumps-family-even-little-kids\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">wished for the deaths of President Donald Trump<\/a> and his family \u2013 including \u201cthe little kids.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPraying the entire Trump family gets cancer.
