Canadian fans will have several home-country fighters to support at
\nthe
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>\u2019s next event in Edmonton,
\nAlberta.<\/p>\n

Four new bouts have been added to
\nUFC Edmonton<\/a>, which takes place Oct. 17 at Rogers Place. In
\naddition to the recently announced bouts, Canada\u2019s Mike Malott<\/a>
\nwill take on Joaquin
\nBuckley<\/a> in the main event.<\/p>\n

Four Canadian fighters added to UFC Edmonton lineup
\n
\nMarc-Andre
\nBarriault<\/a> (17-11) will have the home crowd behind him when he
\ntakes on Kyle
\nDaukaus<\/a> (17-5) in a middleweight matchup at UFC Edmonton.
\nBarriault has endured a turbulent UFC tenure, going 6-10 (1 NC). He
\nhas won only once in his last six outings and is currently on a
\ntwo-fight losing streak.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Daukaus made an impressive comeback to begin his second
\nUFC stint after being released in 2022. The American finished both
\nof his UFC opponents last year but suffered a first-round stoppage
\nloss to Bo Nickal<\/a> in
\nJune at
\nUFC Freedom 250<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Canada\u2019s Tanner
\nBoser<\/a> (22-11-1) will take on Jhonata
\nDiniz<\/a> (9-2) in a heavyweight clash at UFC Edmonton. After
\nfighting out his UFC contract in 2023, Boser competed once for UAE
\nWarriors before returning to the promotion. He suffered a stoppage
\nloss to Gokhan
\nSaricam<\/a> in his return in April. Diniz is 3-2 inside the Octagon
\nsince winning a contract on
\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jamey-Lyn
\nHorth<\/a> (9-3) will take on Katlyn
\nCerminara<\/a> (18-6) in a women\u2019s flyweight bout. Horth is 2-2 in
\nher last four fights and is coming off a loss to J.J. Aldrich<\/a>.
\nCerminara is on a two-fight losing streak and hasn\u2019t fought in more
\nthan two years.<\/p>\n

Melissa
\nCroden<\/a> (8-3) will trade leather with Chelsea
\nChandler<\/a> (7-4) in a women\u2019s bantamweight bout. Croden is 2-1 in
\nthe UFC and is coming off a win over Darya
\nZheleznyakova<\/a> in April. Chandler is coming off a submission win
\nover Priscila
\nCachoeira<\/a>, which ended a two-fight losing streak.<\/p>\n
