{"id":16820,"date":"2026-04-23T19:22:10","date_gmt":"2026-04-23T19:22:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/16820\/"},"modified":"2026-04-23T19:22:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T19:22:10","slug":"canada-sets-octg-antidumping-tariffs-issues-final-determination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/16820\/","title":{"rendered":"Canada\u00a0sets OCTG antidumping\u00a0tariffs, issues final determination \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0Canadian\u00a0International Trade Tribunal (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.citt-tcce.gc.ca\/en\/news\/tribunal-finds-injury-oil-country-tubular-goods-mexico-philippines-turkiye-south-korea-and\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">CITT<\/a>)\u00a0determined\u00a0oil country tubular goods (OCTG)\u00a0sold by Tenaris SA and certain exporters from South Korea,\u00a0Turkey, and the Philippines are subject to antidumping tariffs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CITT\u00a0stated\u00a0that OCTG goods\u00a0originating from or exported from Mexico,\u00a0South Korea,\u00a0Turkey, or the Philippines were dumped into Canada.\u00a0The sales\u00a0resulted in material injury to the domestic industry.\u00a0The\u00a0Canada Border Services Agency (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca\/sima-lmsi\/i-e\/octg52025\/octg52025-fd-eng.html#14\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">CBSA<\/a>) will collect the tariff payments, which remain\u00a0in\u00a0effect for the next five years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The export price dumping margin for Mexican exporter\u00a0Tubos de Acero de Mexico SA was set at 30.7%.\u00a0For exporter\u00a0HLD Clark Steel Pipe Co. Ltd from the Philippines, the rate\u00a0is 16.7%, while the rate for all other Philippines exporters is 57.5%. Hyundai Steel Pipe,\u00a0the exporter from South\u00a0Korea, was assigned\u00a013.6%.
