\nMUNICIPALITY OF HURON SHORES

\nCanada Post has advised that address changes affecting certain residents in the Municipality of Huron Shores will take effect Aug.\u00a017.<\/p>\n
The Municipality is working directly with Canada Post to confirm the affected addressing information and to ensure municipal records within our control are updated appropriately.<\/p>\n
Residents affected by the change are encouraged to review the organizations and service providers that have their current address on file. Updating your address with one organization does not necessarily update it with others.<\/p>\n
Resident Address Change Checklist<\/p>\n
\n\tServiceOntario \u2013 driver\u2019s licence, vehicle permit, health card, Ontario Photo Card and accessible parking permit. Ontario provides an online service that can update several of these records together.
\n\tCanada Revenue Agency (CRA) \u2013 income tax, benefits and tax-credit information.
\n\tService Canada \u2013 if applicable, including CPP, OAS, EI, Canadian Dental Care Plan or other federal programs.
\n\tElections Canada \/ Elections Ontario \u2013 voter registration information.
\n\tMunicipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) \u2013 property owner mailing information.
\n\tBanks and credit unions \u2013 bank accounts, credit cards, investments and loans.
\n\tInsurance providers \u2013 home\/property, automobile, life and other insurance.
\n\tUtilities and telecommunications \u2013 hydro, telephone, internet, television and other accounts.
\n\tEmployer and pension\/benefit providers.
\n\tHealth-care providers \u2013 family doctor, dentist, pharmacy, specialists, etc.
\n\tSchools, colleges, universities or childcare providers, where applicable.
\n\tSubscriptions, memberships and delivery accounts.
\n\tOther businesses or organizations that regularly send you mail.
