Drawing from years of archival research, trial transcripts, and court records, Tkach brings to light six forgotten narratives of Two-Spirit, racialized, and other queer voices, detailing scandals, defiance, and survival in pre-1950s Vancouver.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019ve spent years digging through court records and archives to bring this city\u2019s hidden past into the light,\u201d says creator Glenn Tkach. \u201cSome history gets written down. The rest gets lost entirely until someone goes looking for it. These stories highlight the presence of queer people living in Vancouver, at a time when their identities could not be spoken of or even named. Told in a room where they truly belong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Queer Confidential\u00a0at Historic Little Sister\u2019s Bookstore<\/p>\n<p>Dates: Thursday, August 27, 2026, talk at 7:00pm<\/p>\n<p>10% off\u00a0in-store, all night, with an active ticket.
