Cunningham faced harsh treatment from fans inside Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada, during a game against the Toronto Tempo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The former Missouri Tigers star has become a polarizing figure following her comments about transgender women playing in the WNBA, a stance that seemingly did not sit well with many people in the arena.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But Cunningham did not appear to be bothered by the fans\u2019 treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI will tell you, I want to shout out the Tempo crowd in the city. I think we\u2019ve had so much fun,\u201d Cunningham said after the game, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsnet.ca\/wnba\/article\/fevers-sophie-cunningham-draws-boos-at-tempo-game\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">via Sportsnet<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s my first time being in Canada. It\u2019s a lot of our first times being in Canada.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe crowd was absolutely amazing, and I think that\u2019s what sports is all about.
