The search continues for a 15-year-old Montreal girl who was last seen Monday evening in Rivi\u00e8re-des-Prairies, as her family and the Missing Children\u2019s Network appeal to the public for information that could help locate her.<\/p>\n

Sofia Sama was last seen at approximately 7:30 p.m. Aug. 17 at the Samuel-Morse soccer field in Rivi\u00e8re-des-Prairies, according to information released by her family.<\/p>\n
The family says Sama may have subsequently been seen near the Henri-Bourassa Metro station between approximately 8:30 and 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
At the request of the family, the Missing Children\u2019s Network is assisting with the public appeal and asking anyone who may have seen Sama or who was in either area Monday evening to come forward.<\/p>\n

Sama is described as 5 foot 7 inches tall and approximately 170 pounds, with blue eyes and long, light brown hair.<\/p>\n
She was last seen wearing her soccer uniform \u2014 a grey top bearing the number 17 on the back and black shorts \u2014 along with pink Nike soccer cleats. She may also have been wearing a black top and white or pink Crocs.<\/p>\n

The Service de police de la Ville de Montr\u00e9al (SPVM) advises that missing child cases should be reported to police immediately. Investigators typically gather information about where the child was last seen, what they were wearing, and other details that could help determine their whereabouts.<\/p>\n
Police can also circulate information to other police services when a missing child may have travelled outside Montreal.<\/p>\n
