{"id":17792,"date":"2026-04-24T11:36:07","date_gmt":"2026-04-24T11:36:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/17792\/"},"modified":"2026-04-24T11:36:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T11:36:07","slug":"nhs-doctor-in-court-over-alleged-support-for-hamas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/17792\/","title":{"rendered":"NHS doctor in court over alleged support for Hamas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">An NHS doctor charged with posting on social media in support of Hamas is facing a trial next year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Dr Rahmeh Aladwan, 31, is charged with four counts of inviting support for the proscribed group by posting comments online between July 23 and December 31 last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The British Palestinian is also accused of using threatening or abusive insulting words at a protest on July 21 in Westminster, and stirring up racial hatred in written material on November 19.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It is alleged she wrote: \u201cI don\u2019t condemn Hamas.
