The Blue Jays (63–67, 4th AL East) have alternated wins and losses over their last six contests, but took two of three from New York last week.

The Bronx Bombers lead the season series, 6–5, with two more to play.

Looking at the pitching probables, we’ve got New York southpaw Ryan Weathers (5–7, 3.56 ERA) taking on Toronto right-hander Dylan Cease (7–5, 2.42 ERA). It’s a rematch from last Sunday’s series finale in Toronto, which saw the Yankees rally for a 4–3 victory in extra innings.

First pitch is at 1:35 p.m. ET. The Yankees enter as 1.5-run home favorites with -126 moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Blue Jays are +104 underdogs, with the game total set at O/U seven runs.

Blue Jays vs. Yankees Preview

Toronto Blue Jays

One of the few lineups weaker than the Yankees this year resides north of the border. While they’re coming off a strong showing in Tampa Bay, the Blue Jays are saddled with an AL-worst offense by wRC+ in 2026. Without Vladimir Guerrero Jr., the team found itself on the receiving end of a masterclass from Ryan Weathers.

Fortunately, Toronto has remained in the Wild Card race behind a stellar pitching staff — headlined, of course, by Dylan Cease. The star right-hander enters Saturday with the fourth-lowest ERA in baseball (2.42), leading the AL in xERA (2.65), FIP (2.37), and strikeouts per nine innings (13.14). Cease is only four starts removed from a complete-game shutout with 12 punchouts in Boston against the Red Sox.

New York Yankees

The Yankees’ offense without Aaron Judge, Cody Bellinger, and Giancarlo Stanton has been a complete dumpster fire, and they had no answer last week for Toronto’s Dylan Cease. They were held to just two runs on two hits over 6.1 frames while striking out 10 times against the American League Cy Young candidate.

But like Toronto, New York’s lights-out pitching staff has been there to pick up the slack. The club leads MLB with a 2.70 ERA since the All-Star break — the next closest is Detroit at 3.33. A primary contributor in that success has been surging southpaw Ryan Weathers, who twirled 7.1 innings of one-run ball in his last start against the Blue Jays. He owns a microscopic 0.85 ERA in his last five starts (31.2 IP).

Blue Jays vs. Yankees Pick, Best Bet

The Yankees and the Blue Jays have both been swinging wet newspapers of late, as evidenced by another low-scoring affair Friday night. New York and Toronto combined for exactly seven runs the last time that Weathers and Cease went head-to-head, and there’s strong value in backing the slumping squads to fall under the game total in the rematch.

Best Bet: Under 7 Runs (-117)

Saturday’s MLB slate kicks off in the Bronx, where the New York Yankees continue their three-game series with…

[7
49189,148,3949,48829,48,1017
post-178757","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-toronto","tag-draftkings-sportsbook-insights","tag-mlb","tag-new-york-yankees","tag-sports-betting-picks","tag-toronto","tag-toronto-blue-jays
["GET
