The company recently made an offer for Polish convenience store operator Zabka Group.<\/p>\n<p>Interest rate announcement<\/p>\n<p>The Bank of Canada will make its interest rate decision on Wednesday. The central bank is widely expected by economists to keep its policy interest rate on hold at 2.25 per cent. The rate decision comes after Statistics Canada reported the annual rate of inflation rose to three per cent in July, up from 2.8 per cent in June.<\/p>\n<p>Economic data<\/p>\n<p>Statistics Canada will release a pair of key reports this week. It will publish its figures for international merchandise trade in July on Thursday followed by its snapshot of the job market in August on Friday when it releases its labour force survey for the month.<\/p>\n<p>BRP results<\/p>\n<p>BRP Inc. will release its second-quarter financial results before markets open on Thursday and plans to hold a conference call with investors and financial analysts. Tariffs have taken a toll on the maker of recreational vehicles this year as its products are largely made in Canada and Mexico but find their biggest market in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Lululemon earnings<\/p>\n<p>Lululemon Athletica Inc. will publish its second-quarter results after the close of markets on Thursday.
