{"id":194779,"date":"2026-09-03T18:38:21","date_gmt":"2026-09-03T18:38:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/194779\/"},"modified":"2026-09-03T18:38:21","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T18:38:21","slug":"actors-ready-for-42nd-vancouver-fringe-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/194779\/","title":{"rendered":"Actors ready for 42nd Vancouver Fringe Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">A Burnaby actor stars as a curious fianc\u00e9 in a play appearing in this year\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/vancouverfringe.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Vancouver Fringe Festival<\/a> (VFF) lineup.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Kwasi Thomas portrays Noah in The Guys I F*ucked, a production at the Waterfront Theatre on Granville Island that was penned by Cetenie Narusis and directed by Megan Phillips, who also takes on the role of the betrothed Christine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Formerly from Montreal, Thomas said the show will be his fourth VFF outing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">He jumped at the chance to appear in The Guys I F*ucked after Phillips called him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cI met her in the first weeks I arrived in Vancouver, and we\u2019ve worked together ever since,\u201d he told Freshet News. \u201cI wanted to be in it because it\u2019s very vulnerable and personable. I identify with the character.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In the play, Noah suggests to his fianc\u00e9e they see a couple\u2019s counsellor before they tie the knot.
