{"id":197619,"date":"2026-09-05T20:54:12","date_gmt":"2026-09-05T20:54:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/197619\/"},"modified":"2026-09-05T20:54:12","modified_gmt":"2026-09-05T20:54:12","slug":"bobcat-family-pays-surprise-visit-to-backyard-of-calgary-wildlife-photographer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/197619\/","title":{"rendered":"Bobcat family pays surprise visit to backyard of Calgary wildlife photographer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A Calgary homeowner turned an unexpected visit by a bobcat family into a wildlife photography opportunity of a lifetime.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Sandstone resident Janice Anderson said on Aug. 27, she got a heads-up from her neighbour that a mama bobcat and her five babies were heading her way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cSo I grabbed my camera and phone and ran outside,\u201d Anderson said, who added that she left her dog in the house.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">In her backyard, she discovered a bunch of bobcats, chilling.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cThe bobcats were very calm!\u201d Anderson said, in an email to CTV News. \u201cThey jumped up on my gardening beds and sat down for a few seconds and then made their way to around the front.
