A-list stars will descend on Toronto starting Thursday for the film fest, but Connor Storrie was turning heads in town last week as \u201cHeated Rivalry\u201d shoots its anticipated second season<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A spy said Storrie \u2014 a breakout of the Canadian hit who was the talk of Hollywood\u2019s Oscar parties <\/a>earlier this year along with his costar Hudson Williams \u2014 was working out at the Shangri-la hotel, where he allegedly had \u201ctwo of his own security, plus two Shangri-La security on hand\u2026 so, in total, four men staged at the doors and exits, all of them with secret service-style earpieces.\u201d<\/p>\n

Storrie is filming the second season of his show, \u201cHeated Rivalry.\u201d Sabrina Lantos\/HBO<\/p>\n

\u201cA year ago, or even at last year\u2019s TIFF, few would have been able to pick Connor or his co-star Hudson Williams out of a police line up,\u201d Toronto social columnist <\/a>Shinan Govani told Page Six Hollywood. \u201cBut the fervor over \u2018Heated Rivalry,\u2019 which is in the midst of shooting its second season now in the city, has caused so much pandemonium and neck-turning, it\u2019s hard to believe anyone at the film festival will be able to compete. They kinda own TIFF this year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hudson has another series, \u201cYaga,\u201d costarring Carrie-Anne Moss, premiering at the fest as part of its Primetime section. He\u2019ll also appear at one of the fest\u2019s panels called, \u201cMaking Waves With\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
