Instead, President Donald Trump released a steady stream of derisive posts about our country and floated a ban on Canadian jet-maker Bombardier. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-article-body__text text-pr-5\">In Quebec: U.S. tariffs remain a concern for Quebeckers, with Premier Christine Fr\u00e9chette warning of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/canada\/article-quebec-premier-warns-of-further-us-retaliation-as-canadian\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/canada\/article-quebec-premier-warns-of-further-us-retaliation-as-canadian\/\">effects on the province<\/a>. The two countries held a new \u201cdefence co-ordination dialogue\u201d in Ottawa on Sept. 4, according to a statement issued by China\u2019s Ministry of National Defence. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-article-body__text text-pr-5\">The details: Beijing was the only side to announce this new milestone in thawing relations between Canada and China. One estimate from the Menopause Foundation puts the cost of unmanaged symptoms at $3.5-billion a year to the Canadian economy.
