As April ends, Canada faces a countrywide temperature divide, with western regions warming into summer-like conditions while eastern areas contend with unseasonable cold, potential snow, and a delayed return to seasonal temperatures<\/p>\n

A countrywide temperature shift is on the horizon as April ends<\/a>, dividing Canada into contrasting weather zones. Some regions will feel a snap back to winter-like conditions, while others experience an early preview of summer warmth.<\/p>\n

Last week\u2019s Omega blocking pattern<\/a> temporarily stalled weather across the country.<\/p>\n

The Prairies endured winter-like conditions, with blizzard events<\/a> and a snowstorm that stranded drivers in northern Alberta for over 24 hours.<\/a><\/p>\n

Temperatures dropped 5\u00b0C to 10\u00b0C below seasonal averages across the Prairies and 2\u00b0C to 3\u00b0C below seasonal in parts of B.C.<\/p>\n
