Known to most as John Cormier, passed away peacefully in Sault Ste. Marie on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the age of 54.<\/p>\n
He is survived by his father, Randy; his brothers, Dean, Dwayne (Victoria) and Jay; his daughter, Kaitlyn (Jessie); his son, Kyle; and his cherished grandchildren, Jordann, Beau, Callie, Juan, Kane and Kiari. Predeceased by his mother, Barbara.<\/p>\n
John was a man who loved everything about his job in the steel plant. He took great pride in being part of a union and held a deep respect for the ironworkers union.<\/p>\n
He will be remembered as funny, full of character, a man who loved the outdoors and lived life on his own terms. Above all else, John was a devoted father and grandfather. His daughter and grandchildren were the centre of his world, and nothing brought him more joy than time spent with them.<\/p>\n
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.<\/p>\n
