The restaurant is slated to open in late June and will play host to a number of events, including Firefighters\u2019 Ball on June 21.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis project represents so much of what we believe Downtown Brandon can be,\u201d said Emmy Sanderson, Executive Director of the Brandon Downtown BIZ. \u201cIt honours the history and legacy of the 115-year-old Firehall while bringing new energy, investment, and experiences into our downtown.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hermanos opened in Winnipeg in 2009 on Bannatyne Avenue. It promises \u201ca unique dining and hospitality experience rooted in South American culture. connection and celebration\u201d. The restaurant will include a steakhouse and lounge, a cigar lounge, special culinary events, and a future comedy club space.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Firehall has always been a gathering place in our community,\u201d Sanderson said. \u201cSeeing it transformed into a place here people can once again come together for meals, entertainment, celebrations, and shared experiences is incredibly meaningful.
