Photo courtesy of Patsy Seymour via Facebook Facebook\/Patsy Seymour<\/p>\n<p>SpaceX is the US aerospace manufacturer founded by Elon Musk in 2002.<\/p>\n<p>The amorphous light was visible across a large swath of the Canadian province between 10:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. local time.<\/p>\n<p>The exhaust from the rocket expanded as it reached the upper atmosphere, creating a cloud-like effect, according to Kendurkar.<\/p>\n<p>Patsy Seymour, who posted a video of the light on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/reel\/1633957631207136\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Facebook<\/a>, said it appeared to \u201cdissipate\u201d as it traveled into the distance.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.6171875;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"39303906\" width=\"364\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Screenshot-2026-05-06-at-73816-PM-1.jpg\" alt=\"Bright, rectangular UFO with a faint light source above it, against a dark blue night sky and silhouetted trees.\" class=\"wp-image-39303906\"  \/>A close up of the aerial phenomenon.
