The upcoming Mother\u2019s Day weekend will offer a bit of every season across Canada, with no one-size-fits-all forecast on the table<\/p>\n

Mother’s Day weekend is quickly approaching, and if your plans include bringing your mom outdoors, you may need to pay extra attention to your weather forecast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It all depends on where you live in Canada, of course, as there will be a variety of weather conditions forecast–cold and even wet snow possible!<\/p>\n

Expect a colder-than-normal Mother\u2019s Day for Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. Meanwhile, southern B.C. and Alberta will be warmer than normal. Saskatchewan and the Maritimes will be changeable, but near normal, while Newfoundland and Labrador will see above seasonal conditions.<\/p>\n

Temperatures:<\/p>\n

Western Canada\u2019s ridge, which has been behind the extreme heat in B.C.<\/a>, and Central Canada\u2019s trough are set to ease slightly this weekend, but both patterns will remain in place.<\/p>\n

The warmest locations in Canada are expected to be in B.C.’s southern interior and Alberta, where temperatures are projected to reach the mid to upper 20s.
