He enjoyed playing many sports including baseball and hockey. Brad worked in the automotive industry in sales and management throughout his career, before specializing in automobile arbitration cases with Autopac until his retirement.
Brad loved to spend time attending his children’s sports with wife Carole (nee Spicer) which included gymnastics and ringette with daughter Sheri, and hockey, baseball, football, and racing with son Darren. Years later, Brad enjoyed the process once again with grandsons Travis and Jack, whom are still very active in hockey, lacrosse, and live music performance.
In his closing years, Brad enjoyed an extensive travel schedule. His most memorable trip included a journey to France to visit the grave site of his grandfather, who was a World War One Veteran.
Brad developed friendships with numerous outstanding people throughout his lifetime. Many have become friends of the family, and most have become friends with each other. Brad enjoyed the social aspect of life immensely, and it is rumoured that he even swung a golf club on occasion.
We would like to thank the wonderful and dedicated hospital staff at the Victoria, St. Boniface, and Health Sciences Center in Winnipeg for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brad’s memory to the Children’s Hospital or The Winnipeg Humane Society.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life is scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Friday May 29, 2026 at the Rockwood ANAF, 341 Wilton Street in Winnipeg.

As published in Winnipeg Free Press on May 09, 2026

Adjust Text Size: A+ A- GORDON (BRAD) PALLEN July 14, 1944 – May 3, 2026 Surrounded by family…

[12
629,628,240,626,625,84,627
0":"post-39471","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-winnipeg","8":"tag-deaths","9":"tag-in-memorium","10":"tag-manitoba","11":"tag-obituaries","12":"tag-passages","13":"tag-winnipeg","14":"tag-winnipeg-free-press
["GET
