{"id":41974,"date":"2026-05-12T14:18:06","date_gmt":"2026-05-12T14:18:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/41974\/"},"modified":"2026-05-12T14:18:06","modified_gmt":"2026-05-12T14:18:06","slug":"brampton-driver-charged-with-stunt-driving-in-ramara","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/41974\/","title":{"rendered":"Brampton driver charged with stunt driving in Ramara"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Commercial vehicle allegedly clocked at 103 km\/h in a 60 km\/h zone; vehicle impounded and licence suspended, police say <\/p>\n<p data-end=\"199\" data-start=\"0\">A 31-year-old Brampton man has been charged with stunt driving after Ontario Provincial Police clocked a commercial motor vehicle travelling more than 40 km\/h over the speed limit in Ramara Township.<\/p>\n<p data-end=\"420\" data-start=\"201\">According to the OPP, officers with the Central Region Traffic Team were conducting general patrols on County Road 47 near Sideroad 5 on May 11 when they observed a commercial vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.<\/p>\n<p data-end=\"497\" data-start=\"422\">Police allege the vehicle was travelling 103 km\/h in a posted 60 km\/h zone.<\/p>\n<p data-end=\"571\" data-start=\"499\">Lovedeep Singh Wirring, 31, of Brampton, was charged with stunt driving.<\/p>\n<p data-end=\"689\" data-start=\"573\">As a result of the charge, the vehicle was impounded for 14 days, and the driver\u2019s licence was suspended for 30 days.<\/p>\n<p data-end=\"926\" data-start=\"691\">The OPP is reminding motorists that excessive speed and aggressive driving behaviours pose serious risks to everyone on the road.
