Canadian restaurant operator Foodtastic has signed a master franchising agreement with Inspire Brands to open \u201chundreds of Dunkin\u2019 locations\u201d across Canada.<\/p>\n
Under the agreement, Foodtastic will receive exclusive rights to develop the Dunkin\u2019 brand nationwide. The rollout will include both corporate-owned and franchise-operated sites.<\/p>\n
The deal brings Dunkin\u2019, formerly known as Dunkin\u2019 Donuts, back to Canada after the brand exited the market in 2018.<\/p>\n
The agreement also \u201cstrengthens\u201d Foodtastic collaboration with Inspire Brands. In January 2024, the companies signed an agreement to introduce sandwich brand Jimmy John\u2019s to the Canadian market.<\/p>\n
Foodtastic founder and CEO Peter Mammas said: \u201cBringing Dunkin\u2019 back to Canada is a significant growth opportunity for Foodtastic and our franchise partners across the country.<\/p>\n

The first Dunkin\u2019 location under the new agreement is expected to open in late 2026 or early 2027.<\/p>\n
As agreed, Foodtastic will oversee franchisee recruitment, market development, and operations in Canada.<\/p>\n

Dunkin\u2019 has more than 14,200 restaurants across nearly 40 markets. The brand opened its first outlet in France<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n
