Riversgold Ltd (ASX:RGL, FRA:RGV, OTC:RVSGF)<\/a> has begun exploration activities at its Saint John gold-copper-antimony project in New Brunswick, Canada, with a high-resolution airborne geophysical survey set to begin this week.<\/p>\n

The program is\u00a0being executed by earn-in partner A.I.S. Resources\u00a0and will involve a\u00a0helicopter-borne magnetic survey covering 2,125 line kilometres\u00a0at 50-metre spacing.\u00a0Under the existing agreement, A.I.S. can earn up to\u00a075% of the project\u00a0by spending\u00a0C$4.4 million over four\u00a0years, with Riversgold retaining a\u00a025% free-carried interest through to decision to mine.<\/p>\n

Using advanced geometrics sensor technology, the survey is designed to generate\u00a0high-resolution, low-noise magnetic data\u00a0to map anomalies and refine drill targets across selected areas of the broader project.<\/p>\n

Survey results are expected shortly after completion and will underpin the next phase of exploration.<\/p>\n

“We are pleased to report that AIS are now fully engaged in advancing their exploration efforts at the St John Project. This project offers considerable potential for numerous high-grade gold, copper, antimony, silver and rare-earth maiden discoveries across its 101km2 area. This airborne survey will be critical in refining drill targets for later this year,” \u00a0Riversgold\u00a0chairman David Lenigas said.<\/p>\n

The Saint John Project spans around\u00a0101km\u00b2\u00a0and is considered prospective for\u00a0IOCG-style mineralisation, offering exposure to:<\/p>\n

Previous surface sampling has returned high-grade results, including:<\/p>\n

Up to\u00a070.4g\/t gold<\/p>\n

1,500g\/t silver<\/p>\n

17.6% copper<\/p>\n

10.8% antimony<\/p>\n

These results highlight the project\u2019s potential for multiple high-grade discoveries.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith recent surface rock chip sampling\u00a0showing encouraging results, with grades reaching up to 17.6% copper, 10.8% antimony, 70.4 g\/t gold, and an impressive 1,500 g\/t silver, we and AIS are very keen to see drilling underway in 2026,\u201d Lenigas said.<\/p>\n
