The Toronto rapper hosted a series of activations across the city to hype up fans for the release of Iceman.<\/p>\n
One of the songs, \u2018Make Them Remember\u2019 shows Drake inside of the mayor\u2019s office at City Hall, as the mayor confirmed he \u201cborrowed\u201d her office.<\/p>\n
As the city is still recovering from being \u201ciced\u201d on Thursday night for Drake\u2019s three-album reveal, Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow revealed a thank-you note left by the rapper in her office.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In a social media post on Friday morning, Chow shared a photo of a note addressed to her by the Iceman himself, along with a photo of the rapper sitting in her office at City Hall.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThank you my crodi Crolivia Chow! Iceman 2026,\u201d the note read.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Responding to the note, the mayor praised the rapper for boosting up the city\u2019s image and said she was \u201chappy to host his team at City Hall.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
The note comes as Drake took over Toronto\u2019s waterfront, lighting up the CN Tower and featuring a 10-minute firework display at the Harbourfront Centre, as part of the highly-anticipated Iceman album release.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On top of Iceman, the artist also surprised fans by dropping other two albums: Maid of Honour and Habibti.<\/p>\n
The big reveal comes after Drake took over Toronto\u2019s downtown area with a giant ice block to hype up fans for the album.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On top of all the activations for the albums across the city, one of the rapper\u2019s music videos \u2018Make Them Remember\u2019 shows him inside of city hall, including the council chamber and the mayor\u2019s office.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Speaking at Breakfast Television on Friday, Chow confirmed that Drake had \u201cborrowed\u201d her office for one evening ahead of the big reveal.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s great because Drake has done so much for the city. The world was watching, and he\u2019s making us proud,\u201d Chow said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cHe borrowed [my office] one evening, and we had an arrangement, and put it back in, and so all is good.
