Calgary \u2014 63 Years of Canada’s Greatest Western Marathon<\/p>\n
The Servus Calgary Marathon Race Weekend returns on 23\u201324 May 2026 for its 63rd edition \u2014 making it Canada’s longest-running marathon, first held in 1963 and running every year since 1971. Certified by Athletics Canada and registered with AIMS, it qualifies for Boston and serves as a World Marathon Major qualifier. Six distances spread across two days welcome runners of every age and ability, from the Diaper Dash to the full 42.2K. The marathon course follows the scenic Bow River valley, passing through Calgary’s diverse urban neighbourhoods and iconic landmarks, starting at Stampede Trail and finishing at Enmax Park. True to its Western roots, horses lead the race start. The Servus Charity Challenge has raised over $10 million for 100+ charities since 2012.<\/p>\n
