As if Drake<\/a>\u2019s rollout for Iceman<\/a> and its accompanying albums couldn\u2019t get any bigger, he\u2019s now given his hometown\u2019s mayor a new nickname.<\/p>\n

Toronto\u2019s mayor, Olivia Chow, has shared a handwritten thank-you note she received from the rapper \u2014 one that gave her a new moniker.<\/p>\n

Mayor Chow hopped on Instagram to share a photo of an Iceman-themed thank-you note that she got from Drizzy. The note reads, \u201cThank you my crodi, Crolivia Chow! Iceman 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drake was inside of Toronto\u2019s City Hall, Chow\u2019s office included, for one night<\/a> at some undisclosed point prior to Iceman dropping. The results can be seen in his video for \u201cMake Them Remember.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s great because Drake has done so much for the city. The world was watching, and he\u2019s making us proud,\u201d Chow told<\/a> Toronto\u2019s Breakfast Television.<\/p>\n

In the caption of her picture of the note, Chow delivered praise for Drake.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re welcome Iceman,\u201d she wrote with an ice cube emoji. \u201c@champagnepapi is a big booster of our city. Happy to host his team at City Hall.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chow has enjoyed Drake\u2019s rollout for Iceman in recent months. In April, when Drake\u2019s team erected a massive ice sculpture in Toronto to reveal the album\u2019s release date, Chow got involved<\/a> after the city deemed the installation to be dangerous.<\/p>\n

After firefighters safely melted the ice, Chow spoke about backing the decision to do so in a media release.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fire chief made the decision last night, and I support his decision. His responsibility is people\u2019s safety,\u201d she said. \u201cFolks climbed it. I\u2019ve seen them doing all types of things. It is our responsibility to make sure people are safe.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDrake is a big supporter of our city, and there\u2019s so much excitement across our city towards this new album, the Iceman,\u201d she added. \u201cI\u2019m excited too, it\u2019s going to be a great summer \u2026 but please, be safe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chow and Drake fans everywhere got more than what they wished for when Drizzy dropped Iceman, Habibti<\/a>, and Maid of Honour<\/a> on Friday (May 15). The fact that he released the three albums on the same day has led fans to theorize that he did so as a way of fulfilling his album requirements with Universal Music Group.<\/p>\n

Though he doesn\u2019t address that speculation on any of the projects, he does hint at going independent<\/a> on the track \u201cMake Them Pay\u201d on Iceman. On it, he raps, \u201cI\u2019m better off independent, they should let him leave, yeah\/\u2018Cause I just wanna be free.\u201d<\/p>\n
