PECelebrates, a celebration of community, cultures and Canada, will take place June 14 \u2013 July 1 across Prince Edward County.<\/p>\n
PECelebrates features a variety of events and activities that mark National Indigenous History Month, National Indigenous Peoples Day, Pride Month, Canadian Multiculturalism Day, and Canada Day.<\/p>\n
Details about the PECelebrates Festival are available on\u00a0the municipal website<\/a>.<\/p>\n Featured events celebrating the themes of PECelebrates are listed below:<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n REVEL: Celebrating Diversity (throughout June)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 Revel is produced by The County Museums and celebrates Indigenous Peoples Day, Indigenous History Month, and Multiculturalism Day.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding of local Indigenous history and culture, and to celebrate diversity with the community.<\/p>\n Featured events include:
An annual festival celebrating diversity in the County. This year, a series of events are taking place throughout the month of June that will take you to every corner of the island.<\/p>\n

Wellington Street Dance & Fireworks Show<\/a>\u00a0(Tuesday, June 30)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0
The Wellington Recreation Committee is excited to continue a great County tradition, the Wellington Street Dance and Fireworks Show. The event will begin on Tuesday, June 30 at 5:30 pm with live music by Cue the Funk at 6:30 pm under the gazebo at Wellington Park (243 Wellington Main Street). The evening wraps up at dusk with fireworks at Wellington Rotary Beach (1 Beach Street). \u00a0

Canada Day in Wellington<\/a>\u00a0(Wednesday, July 1)
The Wellington Recreation Committee presents the annual Canada Day parade beginning at 10:30 am. The parade will be followed by Music in the Park from 12 pm \u2013 2 pm presented by the Prince Edward County Lions Club featuring music by Heartlight. BBQ hotdogs and water will be available by donation.

Canada Day in Picton<\/a>\u00a0(Wednesday, July 1)
Canada Day in Picton is presented by the Picton Recreation Committee. Come join in the fun with activities for all ages in downtown Picton from 12 pm to 4 pm. This is a\u00a0Canada Day celebration for everyone! There will be live music, street vendors and fun activities for all ages, including special activities to celebrate the world\u2019s largest soccer event coming to Canada. Everyone is welcome at this free community event.\u00a0Activities will take place downtown Picton as well as at Benson Park (56 King Street).
