La principale diff\u00e9rence concernant ce nouveau socket est le m\u00e9canisme de r\u00e9tention \u00e0 double levier (2L-ILM). Le but est d\u2019\u00e9viter le probl\u00e8me de flexion du processeur (commun\u00e9ment appel\u00e9 bendgate) observ\u00e9 sur des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes. Intel a revu le syst\u00e8me de fixation avec deux leviers assurant une pression plus uniforme sur la puce et un contact optimal avec le syst\u00e8me de refroidissement utilis\u00e9. D\u2019apr\u00e8s les informations de nos confr\u00e8res, ce syst\u00e8me \u00e0 double levier sera principalement utilis\u00e9 sur les mod\u00e8les haut de gamme ainsi que les cartes m\u00e8res d\u00e9di\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019overclocking.<\/p>\n<p>La volont\u00e9 d\u2019Intel est aussi de se concentrer sur une meilleure long\u00e9vit\u00e9 mat\u00e9rielle.
