Down vient d\u2019annoncer la sortie de son nouvel album, Volume V, le 20 novembre chez Nuclear Blast Records. Il s\u2019agira du premier v\u00e9ritable album du groupe de La Nouvelle-Orl\u00e9ans depuis Down III: Over The Under (2007),\u00a0Down IV \u00e9tant paru sous la forme de deux EP en 2012 et 2014.<\/p>\n

Toujours compos\u00e9 de Philip H. Anselmo (chant), Pepper Keenan et Kirk Windstein (guitares), Pat Bruders (basse) et Jimmy Bower (batterie), le groupe a coproduit les dix titres de Volume V avec Eddie Mapp (Black Label Society, Stone Temple Pilots). Le mixage a \u00e9t\u00e9 confi\u00e9 \u00e0 Dave Fortman (Slipknot, Mudvayne) et le mastering \u00e0 Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More, Halford).<\/p>\n

L\u2019album accueillera \u00e9galement King Diamond sur \u00ab Merciful Fate \u00bb, avec la participation de Livia Zita. Son final, \u00ab Twice-Told Tales \u00bb, est pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 d\u2019un morceau intitul\u00e9 \u00ab Ozz \u00bb : Anselmo explique avoir ressenti l\u2019influence d\u2019Ozzy Osbourne de mani\u00e8re particuli\u00e8rement forte lors de la cr\u00e9ation de \u00ab Twice-Told Tales \u00bb, qu\u2019il d\u00e9crit comme un m\u00e9lange de \u00ab\u00a0riffs serr\u00e9s, de blues rock et de heavy metal classique\u00ab\u00a0.<\/p>\n
