KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Kansas City hosts its sixth and final 2026 FIFA World Cup match on Saturday evening. Defending champion Argentina will square off against Switzerland in the quarterfinals.
The two will face off at 8 p.m. at Kansas City Stadium, with the winner facing the victor between Norway and England.

Argentina struggled to beat Cape Verde, and had to rally from a 2-0 deficit in the final 11 minutes to beat Egypt on Tuesday. Switzerland beat Colombia on penalty kicks in the Round of 16.

Stadium Direct shuttles will begin service at 4:30 p.m. For previous matches, KC2026 has announced some regional shuttle service has been suspended to help get fans to the stadium.
No announcement has been made yet along those lines, but check back with this story throughout the day for updates.

Kansas City is drying out from several rounds of storms earlier in the week. Fog is expected to dissipate by 9 a.m., with temperatures then pushing into the low 80s by lunch with a high of 85 degrees.
Despite the dry conditions, muggy air will remain, which allows feels-like temperatures near 90 degrees. Those headed to Fan Fest this afternoon are advised to drink plenty of water.
By kickoff, temperatures will fall back down to the low 80s with feels-like temperatures to the mid 80s.
STADIUM BAG POLICY?
All FIFA stadiums will follow a clear bag policy. Only certain types of bags are allowed inside the stadium.
Ticket Holders are only permitted to bring certain types of bags into Stadiums. The approved bags must be clear and made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC material. Those bags must not exceed 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches (30 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm).
Small clutch purses or wallets approximately the size of a hand are allowed, even if not clear and no larger than 4.5 inches x 6.5 inches (or 11 cm x 16.5 cm).
All bags must be inspected at the stadium entrance.

Small flags, banners and posters made of a fire-resistant material (maximum size: 2m x 1.5m / 78in x 60in) are allowed in the stadium. Larger flags, banners, posters or instruments must be approved in advance.

STADIUM REENTRY POLICY
Leaving and then reentering the stadium is not allowed, and smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited.
WATER BOTTLE POLICY
FIFA announced that fans will be allowed to bring one soft, plastic, factory-sealed 20-ounce water bottle into any FIFA match in the U.S. and Canada.
Fans will not be allowed to bring in hard-sided, reusable water bottles due to safety and security reasons.
