Chiotas Dam Hike: alpine views and hydroelectric energy
Explore how water becomes clean energy on a guided hike in the Maritime Alps. The experience includes a visit to the Enel Visitor Centre “Luigi Einaudi” in Entracque, a private-road transfer to Lago delle Rovine, a walk along the Chiotas Dam crest and an ascent to Rifugio Genova overlooking Lago del Brocan.

Meeting point: Enel Visitor Centre “Luigi Einaudi” (Strada per San Giacomo, Entracque)
Approximate time: 08:30–15:30 (please arrive a few minutes early)
Route: interactive centre visit, private road transfer to Lago delle Rovine, walk on the dam crest and climb to Rifugio Genova (Lago del Brocan, 2,020 m a.s.l.)
Difficulty: E (Hiking) – elevation gain about 200 m
Fees: €15 adults – €10 children (3–13 years)

Hiking boots required (trainers/sneakers are not allowed)
Layered clothing, waterproof jacket/K-way or rain poncho

Practical notes and booking
The activity will be confirmed with a minimum of 8 participants. Dogs are not permitted on the route. Reaching Rifugio Genova is subject to weather conditions.
