NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) – An outdoor celebration in New Bern aimed at connecting the community and first responders has been rescheduled.
National Night Out is now happening from 5 to 8 p.m. on September 29. It was originally set for August 4 but was moved due to potential rain.
The event will be held at Union Point Park, located at 210 East Front Street.
There will be food, family-friendly activities, safety demonstrations, and opportunities for community members to connect.
Visitors can also check out an antique State Highway Patrol cruiser, police patrol cars, and fire department equipment.
The Craven Community College Barber School will offer free haircuts inside the gazebo.
