LevelTen Energy, a Seattle, Washington-based provider of a marketplace for clean energy transactions including power purchase agreements (PPAs), received an investment from ABB.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its energy procurement, advisory, and clean energy contracting capabilities, while accelerating growth opportunities across global markets.

Led by CEO Bryce Smith, LevelTen Energy is a provider of a clean energy transaction platform connecting corporate and institutional power buyers to offsite renewable projects. Their solution facilitates clean energy contracting and environmental attribute certificate trading, providing clean power, capacity, and portfolio management tools to help customers build comprehensive decarbonization strategies.

They currently have facilitated more than 20 GW of clean energy transactions in more than 35 markets across North America and Europe.
