NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) – Police have made an arrest in a 2024 shooting that killed one and wounded another outside a New Bern nightclub.
Jonquez Green was charged Saturday with an open count of murder. Green was already in the Craven County jail on an unrelated charge.
Killed in the April 27, 2024 shooting was 41-year-old Antorio Hargett.
Hargett and 33-year-old Raquisha Brothers were shot in the parking lot of Something Special VIP on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Brothers recovered from his injuries, according to police.
Green is being held without bond.
