NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) – A man was rescued from a car that went into the water near a New Bern park, police say.
New Bern officials say crews were called to Union Point Park yesterday for a water rescue.
A spokesperson for the city said a car went into the water at a boat ramp.
One man was rescued, and he was not injured, according to officials.
Police say the Craven County Sheriff’s Office will be leading an investigation into what caused the car to go into the water.
