NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) – Power has been restored after thousands of New Bern homes and businesses were in the dark.
Crews are still working to find out what caused the outage.
At one point Friday afternoon, more than 2,500 customers were without service.
The outage area included the airport, parts of James City, homes along Country Club Road, and into Trent Woods.
