NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) – Road work is scheduled to begin in New Bern tomorrow morning, affecting a downtown corridor.
Crews will start a milling and repaving project along Hancock Street, spanning from Broad to Queen streets.
Thursday’s work will include milling and removing asphalt and is expected to last from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday morning, crews will begin repaving the roadway depending on the weather.
One block will be closed at a time to allow through traffic.
Drivers are asked to watch for traffic control and use caution when traveling through the area.
