Crime Alert Berks County, a citizen crime-fighting group, is offering cash rewards of up to $10,000 to anyone supplying tips that lead to an arrest in this case or any other case or crime.

Crime: Theft from vehicle

Date and time: July 21, 3:45 p.m.

Location: Dubble’s German Motors Inc., Bernville Road, Bern Township

Police account: Bern police say two suspects stole a purse from an unlocked vehicle at the garage. The suspects were operating a red 2020 Jeep Compass. The stolen purse contained cash and debit cards, one of which was attempted to be used at a Philadelphia gas station several hours after the theft.
