CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – A New Bern man is accused of using a stolen credit card to buy items from an online shopping platform.
Ricky Arrington was charged Friday with financial card theft, financial card fraud, identity theft, and obtaining property by false pretense.
On June 18, the Craven County Sheriff’s Office received a report about several purchases being made with a stolen credit card on Temu.
Records show that Arrington had $1,444 on the card and spent over $500 from April to June.
The 65-year-old was jailed on a $15,000 secured bond.
