Upcoming competition puts high-energy twist on Lake Geneva tradition
For the second year in a row, Red Bull and the Lake Geneva Cruise Line are teaming up for the Red Bull Rush Delivery.

An upcoming competition is putting a high-energy twist on a summer Lake Geneva tradition.
For the second year in a row, Red Bull and the Lake Geneva Cruise Line are teaming up for the Red Bull Rush Delivery.
The competition is inspired by Lake Geneva’s mail jumpers. The jumpers deliver mail to 75 homes right next to Geneva Lake by leaping from the boat and running back without the boat ever stopping. Lake Geneva has been doing this form of mail delivery since 1916.
The Red Bull Rush Delivery puts the speed and agility of 40 competitors to the test. Each competitor tries to leap from the boat, deliver the mail on the dock, and sprint back to the boat the fastest without falling into the water. The 10 fastest jumpers advance to a final round, and the top three from the final round win a cash prize.

Nathan Kallestad won the inaugural Red Bull Rush Competition last year. Cole Kovensky secured 2nd place. Hero DW took home 3rd place.
The Red Bull Rush Delivery takes place Saturday, Sept. 19, at Riviera Beach in Lake Geneva. The competition starts at noon. It is free for the public to attend.
