GENEVA — A car show that started last year returns to downtown Sunday.
Wheels in Geneva, hosted by Revved Up Events, takes place in the Seneca Street parking lot, across from the Smith Opera House, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
According to the Geneva Business Improvement District, the car show features vendors, food, music, raffles, and cars from across the Finger Lakes.
“Stop down and see meticulously restored cars, trucks, tractors and motorcycles — all with a unique story to tell,” BID said in a news release. “Local shops and restaurants will be open, so come and check out some amazing vehicles and enjoy discovering what’s new in beautiful downtown Geneva. Be sure to visit the BID tent for a complete map of the district.”
BID Director Sydney Schumacher is pleased the car show has returned.
“We’re very excited to welcome Wheels in Geneva back for their second annual event,” she said. “There’s sure to be some beautiful cars and good fun coming downtown this weekend. The GBID is happy to be able to offer support and to see fledgling events — like this one was just last year. Revved Up Events does such a beautiful job with Wheels on the Seneca in the summer, and knowing that Wheels in Geneva receives the same love and care makes us sure it will just keep getting better and better. We can’t wait to see everyone there on Sunday.”
For car enthusiasts looking to display their wheels, registration opens at 10 a.m. and the price is $15 per vehicle.
